About Avalon

Avalon is a fictional city set on the East Coast of the United States. The game will be played in small chapters, like a book and it's main events will be reviewable for later reading. (OOC of course) The game setting is modern night Vampire: The Masquerade 3rd Edition with a strong emphasis on the storyline following the players actions. Murder, Mystery, Intrigue, Political Scheming, Gorish Violence, and the every day struggles of unlife in a big city are all present under these city lights. The original elements of gothic horror and gritty action will be the tone and tempo for this game.

Avalon itself is a smaller version of New York City in many aspects, which is ironic since the name Avalon of Arthurian myth originally comes from the Welsh word for Apple (Afal). Avalon is the Small Big Apple, but imagine this apple is rotting away on the inside beneath it's polished, candy coated exterior. This is the kind of city that houses large opera houses and late night art galleries under the same night skies as all night raves and fight clubs. It is a city rich in history, with crumbling reminders all around the city of the type of progress this gothic gotham has witnessed. Avalon, despite its many wonderful distractions, is still the kind of city where things could deffinately go bump in the night.

Avalon is a Camarilla based city, currently experiencing a period of stability as part of a try city region with Rainfall as it's sister city, controlled by the Sabbat, and Riverdale, which is under contention.
